Israel did not refrain from committing successive aggressions on the southern Lebanese border towns, prompting Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah to respond today, saying: "Whoever bets on our fear is building on erroneous calculations, and whoever threatens us with expansion in the war, we threaten them."

 

Nasrallah affirmed during the honorary celebration held by the party for the wounded and captive resistance fighters on "Resistance Martyrs' Day" at Shahid School - Airport Road, that the resistance "monitors all developments in the region, and all possibilities are open," adding: "We are fighting in the south, and our eyes are on Gaza."

 

Among the towns targeted by Israeli airstrikes were: "Maroun, At-Tuff, and Yarin, At-Tufah and Aytah Ash Shaab, Wadi Beit Lif, the outskirts of Ramiya town, Wadi Ad-Dilafa in Houla, Bint Jbeil, Yaroun, the outskirts of Shehin, Aytaroun, Mayss Al-Jabal."

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock expressed concern about Israel's announcement of a ground operation in Rafah, emphasizing that "Israel's right to self-defense" does not mean imposing forced migration.

 

Turning to Russia, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov warned that the United States is pushing the entire Middle East towards disaster.
