Prime Minister Najib Mikati affirmed "Lebanon's support for a peaceful solution in the region, highlighting the crucial role of British support for the army in pushing in this direction." He pointed out that "Lebanon is committed to implementing international resolutions, especially Resolution 1701, and continuing cooperation between the army and UNIFIL."

In a related context, Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri insisted that "Lebanon adheres to Resolution 1701 and awaits its full implementation, emphasizing the need for Lebanese consensus to elect a president and complete reforms."

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu assured families of those held by "Hamas" that he would not agree to a deal to release prisoners if it posed a threat to Israel's security. The meeting took place amid reports of a potential deal between Israel and "Hamas" for the release of hostages.

In addition, the same channel mentioned that Cabinet Minister Benny Gantz and observer Gadi Eisenkot proposed temporary restrictions on aid to Gaza to prevent it from falling under "Hamas" control.
